This week, ICT4COP launched the first of four regional dissemination workshops in Budva, Montenegro. The 3-day workshop, organised by the South Eastern Europe work package, disseminates the overall project findings and regional results to an audience that includes representatives of police, civil society organisations and academic institutions from the South Eastern Europe case countries. On Tuesday, project leader, Dr. Ingrid Nyborg opened the workshop which includes sessions on Institutionalisation of Community Policing, Assessing Attitudes Toward Police, Gender-related Aspects of Local Security and Youth-related Aspects of Local Security. Throughout March and April, workshops will also be held in Pakistan, Kenya and Guatemala.
